Even though attendance at the San Diego Comic-Con continues to grow, the tickets for the event have were sold out long ago and millions of comics fans can’t go, so on July 24th, 55 comic shops across the country will hold parties in conjunction with Red Bull’s ChinaShop Magazine and Dark Horse Comics in a series of local celebrations for those (likely this lowly scribe) who are unable to attend the San Diego Comic-Con. Free drinks and over $200 worth of Dark Horse prizes will be available at these first ever NotAtComicCon celebrations.
