Dynamite Entertainment has announced that Joe Harris will be writing an all-new Vampirella mini-series, Vampirella & The Scarlet Legion, which will debut in May. Dynamite’s revival of the Vampirella property has been going very well as is evidenced by the fact that DE’s Vampirella Archives Vol.1 was the #1 book on the “Hardcover Graphic Books” bestseller list as reported by the New York Times for the week of January 23rd.

 

In the new mini-series, Harris, who made his return to comics with the recently released Ghost Projekt from Oni Press, provides Vampirella with some help in the form of the Scarlet Legion in her struggle against Chaos, the Destroyer and his minions, though the attitude of Legion towards Vampy may take some adjusting.
