Here's the official teaser trailer for Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man, the reboot of the popular franchise that stars Andrew Garfield and is slated to debut on July 3rd, 2012.  It may take a few seconds for this to load, but it's a relief to watch the real thing rather than those execrable shaky bootlegs that were up on the Web yesterday and which Sony was pulling down (with good reason) as fast as it could.

The trailer, which briefly outlines Spidey's origins, certainly looks promising.  Particularly noteworthy is director Marc Webb's use of subjective camera that puts viewers in Spider-Man's place as he soars from building to building in the stone canyons of New York City.
