Marvel continues to squeeze every possible ounce out of its “long reveal” of the revamped lineups for the X-Men, who are sundered in two during the X-Men: Schism event, which results in one group of mutants following Wolverine (the “Gold Team”) and the other following Cyclops (the “Blue Team”).  As usual Marvel reveals a few members at a time by filling in the silhouettes in Dale Keown’s variant covers, which can be placed side-by-side to create a panoramic image of the Blue Team (Nick Bradshaw has created a similar set of variants for the Gold Team—see “X-Men Regenesis: Friday Update.”  The major surprise this time is that Psylocke is forsaking the Uncanny X-Force and leaving Wolvie’s hit squad in favor of joining Jubilee and Storm in X-Men.

Another key reveal has Dani Moonstar returning to the New Mutants.
