Dark Horse Comics is sponsoring a content by which a store can win the official release party for Orchid #1, the first issue of the new comic series by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine (see “Tom Morello’s ‘Orchid’”).  The party will be held the evening of October 12th, the street date for Orchid #1. 

The release party will include 10 signed copies of Orchid, another 200 Dark Horse comics and 10 trades to give away, Orchid posters, assorted Dark Horse swag, Morello’s Nightwatchman CDs, pizza, and a store-exclusive Orchid mini-print.

The winner will be chosen based on the store that receives the “most love” from fans that post on the Dark Horse blog (one entry per person), who are to write a post on their favorite store and why it should get the release party.  The contest ends September 30th.
