Sony Pictures Repertory will release the original Ghostbusters in theaters for special limited engagements in October. The film will have one showtime per week on three October Thursdays: October 13th, October 20th, and October 27th.
The special showings will be held at around 500 U.S. theaters and select theaters in Canada and other international markets. The showings will be in 2K digital with 5.1 surround sound.
While the new movie is still in limbo awaiting a decision from Bill Murray, IDW has comics (see “Ghostbusters Comic from IDW in September”).
