A new ongoing Lone Ranger series will launch from Dynamite in January. The new series will be written by Ande Parks with art by Esteve Pols, who did the Lone Ranger/Death of Zorro miniseries. Alex Ross contributes a painted cover, and Francesco Francavilla is the ongoing cover artist.
The first story arc, titled “Hard Country,” will run six issues, in which the first two issues will be included within a larger story.
The Johnny Depp Lone Ranger movie is now set for May 2013 (see “Lone Ranger Movie Set for May 2013”).
