Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment, and Water Lane Productions have announced the first North American engagement for the Batman Live arena stage show. The show, which brings Batman and a host of iconic characters to life, will have its North American debut on September 5th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Subsequent stops will include St. Paul, San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, Colorado Springs, and many more that will be announced in the coming months.
The Batman Live Show, which debuted in Europe last summer, has been described as a “coming-of-age saga telling the origin of Robin,” features Batman, his faithful butler Alfred, and full slate of colorful villains including The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn. Settings will include Gotham City, Wayne Manor, the Batcave, and Arkham Asylum (see “A First Look at Batman Live” and “Batman Live Show Trailer”).
