Here's another new clip from Joss Whedon's The Avengers, which debuts on May 4th.  While the other recently released clip features a better look at Loki's alien minions (which look a lot like the Disir, the bannished cannibalistic Valkyries, (see "New 'Avengers' Spot"), this clip focuses on the Avengers, and provides the best look yet at the Helicarrier including a spectacular shot of it rising from beneath the waves.

With the debut of Whedon's superhero team-up just a month away, Marvel is hitting all the social media buttons with a promotion on Facebook which will provide free IMAX 3D preview screenings of the film on April 14th in nine cities.  The cities chosen for the screenings have been chosen based on the number of "likes" The Avengers movie has gotten from fans in those particular urban areas.  So far New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and Miami have all earned previews, and four other urban areas have yet to be chosen.  Fans can get tickets via Facebook, but it is not precisely clear how early ticketholders will have to appear to actually get a seat at the preview showings, since demand will likely be enormous.
