Today's clip from Joss Whedon's The Avengers features Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) in a verbal smackdown with Loki (Tom Hiddleston's).  Stark details The Avengers lineup that is set to thwart Loki and his alien minions.

Then Stark provides a bleak assessment of Loki's chances and works in a great taunt that references the film's title: "There's no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top.  Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you.  Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it."
