The Frank Frazetta-created jungle lord Thun’da returns to comics in August in a new series from Dynamite Entertainment written by Robert Place Napton and drawn by Cliff Richards (cover by Jae Lee).  The first issue of the series will be a special 48-page behemoth (sold at Dynamite’s regular cover price) that includes the original Frank Frazetta Thun’da story, which appeared in 1952.

In the new version of Thun’da scripted by Napton, a military helicopter crashes in a remote African valley with just one survivor, a highly skilled commando, who like Jason Bourne, has lost his identity, but retained his superior survival skills, combat reflexes that enable to him to flourish as a modern example of a Tarzan-like "Jungle Lord."
