New creators have been added to the roster for Occupy Comics, the fundraising project supporting the Occupy movement (see "Alan Moore Will 'Occupy Comics'’"), including Pulitzer Prize winner Art Spiegelman; activist (and former Weather Underground leader) Bill Ayers teamed with artist Ryan Alexander-Tanner (To Teach: The Journey, in Comics); Jimmy Palmiotti; and 2012 Pulitzer Prize finalist Matt Bors.
The first 36-page issue of the anthology comic is currently being released. Multiple issues are planned, followed by a hardcover collection this fall. The comic and book are being distributed by new publisher Black Mask Studios (see "Black Mask Studios").
