The 2012 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG North American Champion will be chosen this weekend at the North American World Championship Qualifier in Columbus, Ohio.  Over 1000 invited Duelists are expected to attend, including for the first time younger players, who will compete in the North American Dragon Duel Championships.  

Last Chance Qualifying events will be held on Friday, and Public events including Regional Qualifiers, 3 vs. 3 Team Dueling, Attack of the Giant Card!!, Win-a-Mats, Classic Drafts, Retro Drafts, and Sealed Pack Tournaments for Battle Pack: Epic Dawn will also be held. 

The North American Champion and the other top six players will win free trips to Tokyo to compete at the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship August 11-12.  The top two Dragon Duelists and their guardians will also receive trips to Tokyo.  There are lots of other prizes for top players and participants.

Other attractions including create-your-own-Token-Cards using green screen technology and special guests voice actors Greg Abbey (Yusei Fudo from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds and Tristan Taylor from the original series), Eric Stuart (Seto Kaiba in the original series), Wayne Grayson (Joey Wheeler in classic Yu-Gi-Oh!), and Syrus Truesdale (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX).
