The slugfest known as Avengers vs. X-Men (see "'Avengers Vs. X-Men' Finishing Strong")  is getting the oversized, limited edition hardcover treatment, complete with introduction by WWE Superstar and Champion CM Punk.  It’s due in stores November 21st.

 

Weighing in at 568 pages with a suggested retail of $75, this prestige volume reprints Avengers vs. X-Men #s 0-12, AVX: VS #s 1-6, material from Point One, and Infinite #s 1, 6, and 10 (making their print debut).  In addition, the book includes a code for a free digital copy and exclusive, behind-the-scenes material available through Marvel’s Augmented Reality app.

 

Avengers vs. X-Men stars such iconic characters as Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor, battling a plethora of mutants, including Wolverine, Cyclops, and Magneto.  The epic story, which finds the deadly Phoenix Force headed for Earth, is written by Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Ed Brubaker, Jonathan Hickman, and Matt Fraction (among others), with art by such talents as John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel, and Adam Kubert.  Cover art is by Jim Cheung.
