Titan Books has released a teaser trailer for Death Sentence #1, the first book in a six-issue series by Monty Nero and Mike Dowling that follows the adventures of three misfits who have contracted a deadly new STD, the G+ virus, which bestows superpowers on its victims, but gives them only six months to live in their new super-powered state.  The first 32-page full color issue of Death Sentence, which is rated “M” for mature readers and has been previewed in CLINT comics, is due on October 13th, 2013 and will carry a cover price of $3.99.
 
Although Death Sentence creators Nero and Dowling are newcomers to the comics world, their initial work has garnered high praise from professionals such as Mark Millar (Kick-Ass), who called Death Sentence "just brilliant, the best idea I have seen in years, genuinely original," and Leinil Yu (Superior, Supercrooks), who characterized the new comic as "top notch art and scripting encapsulating a brilliant idea."
