Marvel has announced that its licensing for Ang Lee's Hulk, which will be released this summer (see 'Best in Shows'), is even larger than its licensing for Spider-man last year, making it the largest ever for a Marvel movie. Over 300 companies have signed licensing agreements worldwide, including Toy Biz, Upper Deck (see 'Upper Deck To Do Hulk Trading Cards'), Harper Collins, and Vivendi Universal. According to the announcement, the Toy Biz Hulk toys are selling as well or better than Spider-Man toys did at the same point last year, and every major retailer worldwide is giving Hulk 'dominant positioning' this summer and into the holiday season.
