Warner Bros. has released a new Man of Steel featurette that includes interview footage with cast and crew along with scenes from what can only be called "The Battle of Smallville."  Note the prevalence of visual references to Sears and 7-Eleven that are undoubtedly tied into to promotional deals for the Superman reboot.  No doubt this is just the overture to a symphony of product placement in the film itself.
 
Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel debuts nationwide on June 14th and is currently tracking for a massive $100 million opening.  Warner Bros. has been pulling out all the publicity stops with the recent release of a new trailer (see "'Man of Steel'--'Fate of Your Planet' Trailer") and TV spots (see "New 'Man of Steel' Spot Focuses on Zod").
