Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition, with all three of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films, extras, and memorabilia in a special package, on September 24 for $99.97 MSRP.
The six discs in the set will include all three films with their existing extras and two new featurettes: "The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of the Dark Knight Trilogy," which includes previously unseen footage, interviews with Guillermo Del Toro, Daman Lindelof, Michael Mann, orchard Roeper, Zack Snyder, and more; and "Christopher Nolan & Richard Donner: A Conversation," in which the two directors discuss bringing iconic characters to the screen. Key scenes from The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises in their original IMAX aspect ratio are also included.
Each package will also include collectibles: premium Mattel Hot Wheels of Batmobile, Batpod, and Tumbler; new collectible art cards by Mondo featuring Scarecrow, Joker, Bane, Harvey Dent, and Ra’s al Ghul; and a 48-page hardcover book with production stills and behind-the-scenes images from all three of the Batman films.
