Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. drew 8.4 million live viewers for the second show of the first season, down 30% from week 1, according to Los Angeles Times. That’s still a big number, especially since subsequent showings, DVR and VOD viewers, and streaming nearly doubled the first episode’s viewers from the first night (see “’S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Blows through 22 Million”).
The show dropped even more, by 34%, in the key 18-49 demo. Whether 30% or 34%, the percentage declines are pretty significant.
