New York Comic Con News: At the ICv2 presentation at the NYCC, Dark Horse Comics announced that award-winning writer Greg Rucka will bring his creator-owned comic Veil to Dark Horse. The first issue of the five-issue series, which features art by Toni Fejzula, will debut on March 5th, 2014. Veil is the first creator-owned series that Rucka has worked on with Dark Horse.
Veil follows the adventures of a young beautiful girl who wakes up in an abandoned subway station with no memory of how she got there. Like a Robert Ludlum Bourne/type of character she has some serious skills and those who mean her harm end up dead in a hurry. Veil should fit right in with a Dark Horse lineup that includes other kick-ass heroines such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Serenity’s River Tam.
