The fiftieth anniversary of the launch of Daredevil will be celebrated in a special issue, Daredevil #1.50, in April, Marvel announced. The issue will not only include a main feature by Mark Waid and Javier Rodriguez, but also a "hailstorm" of backup stories by famed past Daredevil creators, so far un-named.
The main cover will be by Paolo Rivera, with variants by Marcos Martin and Chris Samnee.
The main story is set in the future, on Matt Murdock’s 50th birthday, and will include hints of the events in store for the rest of 2014 for the character.
