Neil Marshall has been named director for NBC’s pilot episode of Constantine, according to Deadline.
Marshall is best known as writer and director for the 2005 horror movie The Decent, but he’s also directed a few geek-friendly, dark genre titles including Doomsday, Centurion, and Dog Soldiers. In the TV arena, he directed the Game of Thrones episode "Blackwater" (and will be returning for another episode in season four), as well as two episodes of Michael Bay’s Black Sails.
Things are moving quickly for the series, since the pilot order just came through two weeks ago (see "Pilot Order for 'Constantine'").
