Marvel Comics has announced a major change to its 'Must Have' reprint of the sold out Sentinel #1 & #2 -- instead of a 48-page book featuring just the two Sentinel issues, Marvel is publishing a 96-page flip book that also includes Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona's Runaways #1 & #2 -- all at the same low cover price of $3.99.  The Sentinel, written by Sean McKeever and illustrated by the Canadian collective Udon, was the first Marvel Tsunami title to get the 'Must Have' treatment (see 'Marvel's First Tsunami Must Have').  The first two issues of Sentinel sold out quickly as did the initial issues of Runaways -- and both series have met with a very positive critical reaction. Brian K. Vaughn, who writes Runaways, is the creator of Y: The Last Man, the DC/Vertigo science fiction title that has spawned one of the hottest graphic novels of the year.  The 96-page flipbook replaces the previously announced Sentinel #1 & #2 reprint and retailers who placed orders on that (Diamond order # MAR035088) will now receive the double-sized flipbook for the same price.

The special flipbook will ship in time for readers to continue with each series without missing a beat.  The mega 'Must Have' ships on 6/11 and Sentinel #3 goes on sale on 6/11 as well, while Runaways #3 follows on 6/25.  Retailers interested in ordering the 96-page flipbook or increasing their orders should contact their Diamond representative immediately.  The order number for the mega-Must Have remains the same (MAR035088).
