Titan Comics has announced a four-issue comic book adaptation of Bethesda Softworks’ The Evil Within horror video game, launching on August 27th.
 
The prequel mini-series will be written by Ian Edginton (2000 A.D., X-Force), with art by Alex Sanchez (Tales of the Vampires, Katana), and cover art by Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night, Wasteland). 
 
The upcoming survival horror game is created by Shinji Mikami, who created the Resident Evil video game and its many franchise successors.  The game will release in North America on August 26th, the day before the comic premieres.  The comic story follows the young student Dana, whose search for a missing friend leads into a world of unimaginable horrors.
