Marvel Comics is making versions of its own in-house 'art boards' available to the general public exclusively through Mile High Comics.  When asked by ICv2 if other retailers would be allowed to sell the boards, a Marvel spokesperson replied, 'Initially, Marvel art boards will be available exclusively through Mile High Comics.  In the future, art boards may be sold in other outlets.'

Custom manufactured to Marvel's own in-house specifications, the high quality 2-ply paper 'takes pencil (and ink) very well,' according to artist Adam Kubert.  Ultimates artist Bryan Hitch adds, 'No matter how much fun I had drawing as a child, it never felt like a comic, until I drew on a board with the little Marvel logo in the top corner. I got goosebumps.'  Each 25-board pack retails for $49.95.
