San Diego Comic-Con News:  Dynamite Entertainment has announced that veteran comic book scribe Justin Gray, a frequent contributor to Jonah Hex and All-Star Western, will write a new ongoing The Lone Ranger comic for Dynamite that will launch with a new #1 issue in November, which will be solicited in the September issue of Diamond’s Previews.
 
Rey Villegas (Lady Zorro) will provide the interior art for the new Lone Ranger comic, while John Cassaday (Uncanny Avengers, Astonishing X-Men) and Marc Laming (All-New Invaders) will furnish the covers.
 
Dynamite launched its The Lone Ranger comic book series in 2006 (see "Dynamite Lands 'The Lone Ranger'") and the book, which was written by Brett Matthews and illustrated by Sergio Cariello, was nominated for an Eisner as one of the best new comic book series of 2007.
