New York Comic Con News: Dark Horse Comics has announced a new yearlong series featuring Sergio Aragones and Mark Evanier’s clueless barbarian, who will clash with a wide variety of acquaintances and enemies in Groo: Friends and Foes, which will launch in January following Groo’s epic confrontation with Conan (see "'Conan Meets Groo'").
Debuting in January, Groo: Friends & Foes features the creative team of Aragones and Evanier backed up by letterer Stan Sakai and colorist Tom Luth. In the first issue of Friends and Foes Groo tangles with Captain Ahax, the forlorn seaman whose career has been repeatedly shattered by Groo’s ability to sink any boat, anywhere at any time.
