A Kirby creator credit is now appearing on the title pages of Marvel publications. It seems likely that this credit is an outcome of the settlement of litigation between Marvel and the Kirby heirs (see "Marvel Settles with Kirby Heirs!"). The announcement at the time said that Marvel and the Kirby family were "...looking forward to advancing their shared goal of honoring Mr. Kirby's significant role in Marvel's history."
No formal statement about the new credit line from either party was made, but CBR noted that several releases this week, including All-New X-Men #33, Fantastic Four #12, Inhuman #7 and Wolverine and the X-Men #11 include the phrase "Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby" on the credits page. Additionally, the credit page for Death of Wolverine: Deadpool & Captain America #1 includes "Captain America Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby."
The original lawsuit involved copyrights to 45 characters created/co-created by Kirby (see "Kirby Heirs Seek Copyrights"), including the Avengers, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. The dispute hit the courts in 2010, just after Disney acquired Marvel (see "Marvel Sues Kirby Heirs").
It’s interesting to note that Marvel finally scheduled movie projects involving more Kirby co-creations in the last month (see "'Black Panther,' 'Captain Marvel,' 'Inhumans' Movies"), as he has co-creation credits on Black Panther and the Inhumans. Here’s hoping he gets co-creator credit on Agent Carter as well (see "Gams, Guns, Explosions").
