Writer Judd Winick (Green Lantern) and artist Tom Raney, the creative team behind DC Comics' new hit series The Outsiders, have renewed exclusive agreements with DC. Winick has signed on for one additional year and Raney for two. Under the leadership of Dan Didio DC has moved aggressively to lock up the top talent behind its key projects (see 'DC Signs Grant Morrison, Jeph Loeb, Tim Sale, & Greg Rucka To Exclusive Contracts'). In addition to ensuring the continuation of The Outsiders, the signing of Winick could possibly hurt Marvel, since the 'house of ideas' will undoubtedly have to replace Winick on Exiles.
