Twentieth Century Fox Licensing has released information concerning the licensing of the Alien vs. Predator film, which debuts this summer on August 4. Two companies, including industry leader McFarlane Toys, will field complete lines of action figures based on the film, while Palisades Toys will continue their spectacular series of Alien and Predator resins. Dark Horse Comics, which originally teamed Alien and Predator in the pages of its comic books and which is quickly becoming a leader in the novelty gifts market, will produce a line of coasters, Zippo lighters, and other collectibles to go along with its comics, while Mezco Toyz will also produce a special line of action figures and playsets based on the Alien vs. Predator film. Look for more information on Alien vs. Predator merchandise in ICv2's coverage of the New York International Toy Fair.
