Marvel Comics has confirmed to ICv2 that the publisher will be using the gold foil reprint of the sold out Secret War #1 as an incentive to get retailers to order more copies of Secret War #2 (see 'Secret Wars #1 Sells Out'). Details on the reprint and how to order its will be listed in Marvel Previews #8. Basically the number of copies of the gold foil reprint of the first issue that retailers can purchase will be tied to increases in their orders for Secret War #2. Marvel spokesman Andrew Lis told ICv2, 'We feel we have a perfectly viable sales incentive for what is now a knockout punch of a product. We wouldn't go forward otherwise.'
