Ibooks has signed a licensing deal with Classic Media to publish new novels and graphic novels based on the science fiction hero, Magnus Robot Fighter, whose adventures were formerly published in comic book format by Gold Key and Acclaim.  According to ibooks' Publisher, Byron Preiss, the first novel and first graphic novel will go into production at the same time.  Earlier this month, ibooks, in it's fifth year, was named the #1 standout small publisher by Publisher's Weekly for the second year in a row.
