Jakks Pacific has announced that it is acquiring the assets of the Play Along companies, including its construction toys.  The Play Along construction toy line is designed by Art Asylum, and based on its Minimates line (see 'Art Asylum, Play Along To Produce C3'), featuring Batman and Justice League.  The price is $116 million, and the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 04.
