Kaiyodo, one of the most innovative and inventive of the major Japanese toy companies, is preparing its first official full exhibit at an American trade show.  Kaiyodo, which makes a full line of figures ranging from the small, but highly accurate Dinomania dinosaur figures (see 'Dinomania Figures Available') to elaborate statues and action figures based on some of Japan's top anime, manga and video game properties, will have a full display booth at this year's San Diego Comic Con International.  The free standing Kaiyodo display will be attached to that of Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc., Kaiyodo's official North American distributor.

The Kaiyodo display will include a selection of the company's previously released toys and statues based on Fist of the North Star, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Front Mission, Votoms, Trigun, and Devil May Cry, plus previews of new offerings including a new Bome designer figure (Kirasaki Mai), Fist of the North Star Jumbo Vinyl Figures and Resin Busts, a second series of Devil May Cry Trading Figures and much more.  An indication of the importance Kaiyodo attaches to its increased presence at San Diego can be seen in the fact that Mr. Shuichi Miyawaki, Kaiyodo's President, will be in attendance at the show.
