Baltimore businessman Stephen A. Geppi, who owns Diamond Comic Distributors, Alliance Games, and Gemstone Publishing, has purchased the Pennsylvania-based Morphy Auctions, an auction house specializing in collectible Americana, and the Adamstown Antique Gallery, a 10,000 square foot showcase located in the area of Pennsylvania known as the 'Antique Capital of America,' for an undisclosed price.  The two new acquisitions will be managed through Geppi's Diamond International Galleries, a world-class museum and vendor of vintage comic books and original comic book art.

 

The newly acquired auction house and gallery specialize in a wide array of collectible Americana including tin toys, vintage advertising signs, western toys, clocks, mechanical toys, pressed steel items, door stops, and cast iron pieces.
