Platinum Studios has announced the acquisition of film and TV rights to the Hexagon Comics properties.  Platinum is also acquiring a portion of the company.  Hexagon's 50-year-old universe of comic properties is France's largest, with 500 characters and thousands of stories. 

 

Hexagon  was formed last year, when the creators regained the rights to their own creations.  Jean-Marc L'Officier organized the syndicate of creators and is managing editor of the line.  Strangers is one Hexagon property that has already been published in the States, by Image.
