Sales on Sin City trade paperback collections in bookstores are holding strong.  Six of the top 25 graphic novels on the Bookscan graphic novel bestseller list for the week ending April 17th were Sin City volumes.  That week represented the second week of the movie's release (see 'Sin City Slips to #2'), a time when sales of tie-in products traditionally slow.  But the Sin City film's strong association with the graphic novels as source material is giving the books an unusually strong sales boost (see also 'Sin City Graphic Novel Sales Continue to Rise').  

The strong performance of Sin City gave Dark Horse a strong share of the top 25 graphic novel slots on the Bookscan list, with eight.  Hellsing Vol. 6 (#10) and Star Wars Episode III:  Revenge of the Sith (#2) were the other two.
