Ron and Pat from Jay-Ron Raceway Collectibles are upset at a situation involving the Bowen Silver Surfer statues:
I was really surprised to see all the Bowen Silver Surfer Statues on eBay at twice the retail price. I am a lowly little ma and pa store that only orders around $600 to $900 dollars worth of stuff from Diamond Distributors a week. Of course I try to order all of the statues and busts that are offered by everyone. To do this for the last fifteen years I have had to order in small quantities of one or two to try to give my customers the best chance to own a nice work of art. We are told we have one of the largest selections of statues in three states. Imagine my surprise when I was told I would not be getting either version of the Silver Surfer Statue. I guess Randy [Bowen] forgot that five to seven years ago little guys like us bought his stuff and got him where he is.
