The biggest 'exclusive' signing to come out of the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con was DC's inking of writer Mark Waid.  Waid's deal was announced at the DC Universe panel where it was also revealed that he will help re-launch the Brave and the Bold comic series as well as continue writing for The Legion of Superheroes.  In addition Waid will act as an editorial consultant on the general direction of the DC Universe. 

Reportedly the DC exclusive contract will allow Waid to keep writing his creator-owned Hunter-Killer comic series for Top Cow.
