Japanime Co. Ltd. has announced the November release of a special box set featuring the first three volumes from its popular Kanji de Manga series of books that use manga to teach students how to read and write Japanese. Included in the box set are Kana de Manga, which introduces readers to hiragana and katakana (the ABCs of Japanese), along with Kanji de Manga Volumes 1 & 2, each of which features 80 of the most common and useful kanji characters in the Japanese language.
Created by Glenn Kardy and illustrated by Chihiro Hattori, the three volumes come packaged in a deluxe slipcase along with a colorful greeting card (attached to the outside). The 3-volume set has an MSRP of $26.99 and is available through Diamond Comic Distributors.
