The Anime News Network is reporting that Bandai Visual and Production I.G. have announced that they are collaborating on a new Ghost in the Shell anime project, though the details about the new effort will not be released until the upcoming Tokyo International Anime Fair, which will be held from March 23-26. Speculation centers on a possible third season of the popular Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex TV anime or a GITS: SAC anime feature, or possibly something completely different (though Ghost in the Shell-related).
