Southern Island had the beginnings of its Samurai 7 and WarMachine lines at the recently completed San Diego Comic-Con.  The WarMachine line, based on the Privateer miniature game, consisted of a single figure, a one-SKU test run, which is currently shipping to game distributors and Diamond with what a company spokesperson described as 'very good' pre-orders. 

The Samurai 7 line has seven figures from Organic shipping now to distribution.  Southern Island will also be producing its own 8' figures for the line. The first wave of four will ship in November at a $14.99 MSRP.

Southern Island's Fruits Basket line, which hasn't shipped yet, is sold out from the manufacturer.  Placements include Hot Topic, Borders Group, Barnes & Noble, and distribution through Diamond. 

A Case Closed Richard Moore polystone figure will retail for $59.
