The newly released Upset game from p.s. Playgames combines chance and strategy into a unique and addictive gaming experience that works both as a family game and a party game.  Inspired by games played in Labrador fishing villages, Upset includes specialty dice, cards, chips, and interactive scorecards that shape play by determining who gets the cards and when.  The object of the game is to score points with the dice (10,000 to win) and strategically use the Upset cards to beat your opponent.  Players strategize not only on how and when they play their cards, but also how to get or avoid getting the cards.  However, the special dice contain letters as well as numbers and if someone rolls the word 'Upset,' then everyone else, no matter how close they are to winning, must restart from scratch.

Upset is designed for 2-to-six players ages 12 and up and can be played in two versions, long or short, providing flexible playing times of 30 to 120 minutes. The deluxe Upset Box (MSRP $29.99) includes 5 unique dice, 52 Upset cards, 150 Upset chips, 2 pads of interactive score cards, a dice shaker and 6 pencils.  In 2008 p.s. Playgames will release Upset Jr. aimed at teens with 5% of the net cost of each game donated to children's charities.
