Later this month Rio Grande Games will release Uwe Rosenberg's Space Beans card game as well as an English language version of the German board game Manhattan.  Space Beans (MSRP $14.95) is the successor to the Bohnanza game but gameplay, which is recommended for ages 10 and up, is much simpler as players endeavor to harvest as many beans as possible across the galaxies and become known as the 'Lord of the Beaniverse.'

In Manhattan (MSRP $39.95), which was designed by Andreas Seyfarth, 2-4 players ages 10 and up have the opportunity to build skyscrapers in the Big Apple, Sydney, Frankfurt, Cairo, Sao Paulo, and Hong Kong.  Each turn a player must decide whether to build his own skyscraper or add on to someone else's (thereby taking it over).  At the end of every round of six turns, players get points for having the tallest building, the most buildings per city and for each building they own.  After four 6-turn rounds the player with the most points wins.

Rio Grande is also expecting a restock of Carcassonne: The Discovery (MSRP $24.95), a stand-alone spin-off board game from the popular Carcassonne series of board games.
