Wizards of the Coast recently shared more details on its Axis & Allies Miniatures, Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures, and Transformers Battle Card lines.
Two new Axis & Allies sets are planned for 2008, although there are no plans at this point for a follow-up to the red-hot War at Sea set released this year. The Axis & Allies 1939-45 release set for this October, which includes some popular figures from past sets, will correct the relative scale of figures and vehicles.
April '08 releases include the Dungeons and Dragon's Miniatures Starter Game, with rules that tie into the recently announced D&D Fourth Edition (see ''D&D 4th Edition' Announced at Gen Con'), and Dungeons of Dread, a 60-figure set that will include the first appearance of new stat cards. The new Starter Game will include five exclusive figures including a new Green Dragon.
Dungeons of Dread will have updated packaging that displays the Wayne Reynolds package art with a full bleed design.
WotC will release a second set of its Transformers 3-D
