Upper Deck and Blizzard Entertainment have announced the January publication of World of Warcraft: The Art of Trading Card Game ($50.00), a lavish 288-page compendium of art created for the WoW TCG, including contributions from Todd McFarlane (Spawn) Greg Staples (Judge Dredd), Zoltan Boros and Gabor Szikszai (InQuest Gamer's 'Artists of the Year'), Marcelo Vignali (Disney Animation), and Todd Lockwood (Forgotten Realms). 

Chronicle Books is publishing the 11' x 9' hardcover, which will include 300 full color art pieces specifically created for the WoW TCG.  It's also of interest to fans of Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft online game, which has more than 9 million subscribers.

Blizzard Entertainment's Senior Art Director Samwise Didier and Art Leader Glenn Rune each provide forewords for the deluxe volume, which also includes an introduction by Upper Deck's Art Acquisitions Manager, Jeremy Cranford.
