WizKids, the company that created the white-hot Mage Knight miniature game, has announced an entirely new kind of Mage Knight figure.  Standing over 6-inches high, with a wingspan of well over nine inches, the Great Fire Dragon towers over the existing Mage Knight miniatures.  The dragon is mounted on a game base that is over 6-inches long and contains four Mage Knight combat dials, giving this awesome dragon strong combat abilities and battlefield staying power.  The Great Fire Dragon has a scaleable point cost and can be used in small Mage Knight armies as well as in larger-scale battles.

Mage Knight is the miniature gaming system that has taken the gaming world by storm (see, 'December Product of the Month').  The pre-painted Mage Knight miniatures are ready to play with right out of the box, and each figure comes with combat dials on its base, which makes for easy game play. The Mage Knight Starter Sets and Boosters are boxed sets making for easy retailer handling.  Each booster is seeded with a randomly packed 'rare' figure, a marketing ploy borrowed from the world of collectible card games that has helped make Mage Knight the hottest new game in town.  Expansion Packs are due in May.

The Great Fire Dragon is the first Mage Knight figure to be packed singly, as its size and  $24.95 suggested retail price dictate.   It will be available to retailers nationwide this June.  This limited issue figure brings a different scale to the game and bridges the gap between elaborate miniatures, exceptional toys, and action figures.  For a first look at this amazing creature, visit ICv2.com in the coming days.
