Upper Deck Entertainment has announced some strategic changes to the release plans for its Dinosaur King Trading Card Game, changes that are designed to take full advantage of the appearance of Season 2 episodes of the Dinosaur King anime, which will begin airing in September in the CW4Kids Saturday morning animation block.

The third expansion for the Dinosaur King TCG, Alpha Dinosaurs Attack, is now slated for release on August 4th, which will give players plenty of time to strengthen their decks and collections with the potent new cards included in the Alpha Dinosaurs Attack Expansion before school and the new season of the Dinosaur King anime begin in September.

Upper Deck is also combining its previously announced fourth expansion, Black Dinosaur Rampage, with what was originally planned as its fifth release, Dinotector Showdown.  The combined Dinotector Showdown Expansion, which will be released on November 17th, will now be an impressive 160-card set that will include all the Black Dinosaurs and the Fusion-Moves that were originally scheduled to appear in Black Dinosaur Rampage.
