Duncan Toys’ Warstone led the Washington Post’s list of the best toys for the holiday season, play-tested by kids in DC-area schools.  The combination of a marble game and TCG, conceived by Trish Bell and board game designer Richard C. Levy (see “ICv2 Interviews Richard Levy”), developed by veteran game designers Mike Selinker and Teeuwynn Woodruff of Lone Shark Games, and featuring art from an all-star roster of artists (see “Warball from Duncan Toys”) is shipping under its new branding (see “Warstone Supplants Warball”) now.

Other games in the list include Playroom’s On the Double, Out of the Box’s Ninja vs. Ninja, Kid Cranium Spongebob Squarepants Edition, Cadaco’s Count Down & Spell Up, and 100 Really Dumb Things from Patch Products.
