Fantasy Flight Games has announced that two of the Warhammer roleplaying games will be expanded with new books in March 2011.  Battlefleet Koronus is a sourcebook on naval operations for Rogue Trader.  The Witch’s Song is a standalone adventure for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. 

 

Battlefleet Koronus centers around the Imperial naval forces in the Koronus Expanse, and includes rules for large battles both in space and on the ground.  Details of the Imperial Navy, its operations, and equipment make up much of the sourcebook, along with suggestions of ways to use the navy as an ally or an enemy in a campaign.  Information about “xenos” races spacecraft and those used by the forces of Chaos are also included.

 

Battlefleet Koronus will be a 144 page full-color hardcover book.  It will have a suggested retail price of $39.95 and a product number of RT09.

 

The Witch’s Song is a stand-alone boxed adventure module for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.  The action centers on legends of a swamp lich that haunts the small fishing village of Fauligmere.  It includes new rules options for hedge wizards and witch characters.  The box includes a full-color adventure book and all of the handout sheets, cards, and tokens needed to play.
